It's OFFICAL!!!!!

Mark the Calenders for March 13th!!!
Here's what ESPN reports:

Manny Pacquiao has signed a contract to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing's biggest fight on March 13, a source with knowledge of the meeting told ESPN.com on Friday night.

Pacquiao and promotor Bob Arum met for two hours Friday to discuss the proposed deal, according to Pacquiao adviser Michael Koncz, who told The Associated Press that "Manny has some additional requirements, requests, which Arum didn't think was a problem.

"The requests of Manny were so realistic that Arum doesn't feel it's a problem and it's pretty much a done deal," Koncz said.

Later Friday it became a done deal, at least on the Pacquiao side, when he signed the paperwork, the source said.

Mayweather had previously agreed to terms with Golden Boy Promotions, his promoter for the HBO PPV fight, but it was unclear if he had signed a contract.

The source also disclosed other aspects of the fight which will take place at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds for Pacquiao's title and match the top two fighters in the world, pound-for-pound.

The camps agreed to a 50-50 split of the money, which could be gargantuan. Many experts expect the fight to eclipse the all-time pay-per-view record for sales, which is the 2.44 million buys generated by Mayweather's 2007 victory against Oscar De La Hoya.

Both fighters will wear 8-ounce gloves but each fighter will be allowed to select the brand of gloves he will wear for the fight.

For promotional purposes, the bout will be referred to as Mayweather-Pacquiao, but Top Rank will receive first billing over Golden Boy throughout the promotion.

However, instead of a full-scale media tour, there will only be a single press conference in New York during the second week of January. With the schedule compressed because of the March 13 date for the fight, rather than May 1, which the promoters and HBO PPV preferred, it didn't leave time for a lengthy media tour.

The fight is going to take place March 13 because Pacquiao is running for a congressional seat in the Philippines and the elections are in May, which would have been a conflict between his training and the campaign.

Pacquiao will spend the first half of his training camp in Baguio in the Philippines, where he also trained for the first part of his camp in preparation for his 12th-round knockout victory against Miguel Cotto on Nov. 14. For the final few weeks of his training, Pacquiao and trainer Freddie Roach will relocate to Roach's Wild Card gym in Hollywood, Calif.

The site of the bout has not been finalized. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has expressed interest in bringing the fight to his new stadium as have representatives from the Superdome in New Orleans. Also in the mix is the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which has hosted several Pacquiao and Mayweather bouts. Arum has also received a proposal for a 30,000-seat temporary stadium on the Las Vegas Strip across from the Wynn resort.

That's right!!! Here's what the L.A. Times Reported:

The long anticipated fight between Pacquiao vs Mayweather is tentatively scheduled for March 13, 2010, the LA Times reported Wednesday. Floyd Mayweather has agreed to the terms for the welterweight title fight, but Pacquiao has still to review the details of contract.

Manny Pacquiao is the bigger draw and made more pay-per-view money this year then Floyd Mayweather, but they are the top two money makers in boxing right now. Both fighters would like a date prior to May 1, 2010 and this date is the date that may work best for both sides.

"Of course," Freddie Roach, Manny’s coach told the LA Times, "Manny believes he should get a 60-40 [purse] split too, because he did better in pay-per-view than Mayweather this year. Manny's the bigger draw."

"March 13 is too fast a turnaround," said Roach. "I'd like to have more time. I hope the fight happens, yes, but I want us to be in the best possible shape." Manny broke his right eardrum during a fight with Miguel Cotto on November 14, 2009 and his manager said that more recovery time would be better.

The two dates being pushed around is:

March 13, 2009
or
May 1, 2009

DAMN!!!! Either way it's gonna happen

College Football Conference Championship Wednesday

I'm going to highlight the 4 games this weekend which I think will have a effect on the BCS going into
 Bowl Bid Weekend.

Acc Championship:

10 Georgia Tech (10-2) vs Clemson 8-4

You have gotta be a fool to take Clemson on this one! Georgia Tech wins, and wins big and receives a BCS Bowl Bid.

Big East Championship:

5 Cincinnati (11-0) vs 15 Pittsburgh (9-2)

This may be the toughest game on the schedule besides Alabama, Florida. I going all upset on this one and ruining the BCS hopes of Cincy. Sorry had to do it, this year's been pretty dry on upset's.

Big 12 Championship:

3 Texas (12-0) vs 22 Nebraska (9-3)

The way Nebraska's been rolling worries me about the Horns. I believe they'll get it together pull out a victory and clinch a Championship Bid.

SEC Championship:

1 Florida (12-0) vs 2 Alabama (12-0)

That's right I going all upset on this one. No dobut in my mind Tebow will have to settle for a lesser bowl, no National Championship for ya bub!

NFL WrapUp Tuesday on Wednesday

Okay this past weekend was the worst week I've had all year on picks 10-6! The one week I expect the Upsets, and end up flat like bed sheets!

Overall it was a very entertaining week/weekend of football. Thanksgiving games were good, the boys took control of the divison, Giants got their ass handed to them. The weekends games were good, Falcons lost Ryan, and Turner (again), came from behind to pull it out. We saw the Texans kill the Colts, for 2 quaters, then reality kicked in, nice finish with Balt. and Pitt. and end with an ass raping of the Pats by the Saints in which was suppose to be the preview of the Super Bowl.

Now to the good stuff,
This week I added another game to the agenda, which will be
3Games I thought were awesome, 1 Shitty Team nod,
and 2 Games of The Week

With that said let's jump into
NFL WrapUp

Philadelphia 27, Washington 24

My, my, were kicking off WrapUp with the Redskins without talking about them in a bad way, or with the title "Shittest Team". This was a surprising good game to watch. I thought, and kind of hoped the Redskins woud've pulled it out. I know, I know I picked the Eagles, but for the Cowboys sake, I would have loved to see the Skins win.
One Name, DeSean Jackson is a beast ladies and gentlemen! The Eagles are doing what they do year in and year out around this time, just hang like a dingleberry over the playoff picture. I do agree they are a team you can't over look this month. Overall B+, good game, would've been awesome if the upset was pulled.

Indianapolis 35, Houston 27

For one half of football we witness what the Colts would look like if they were to lose this year. That was until the 2nd half started, then do what they do, WIN. I think we all were fooled by the Texans in this game.  This would've been one of those games we'd be talking about all week, as far as upset's concern. Peyton is a monster, he finds way to win and make your team look BAD! Overall A, I enjoyed every minute of this game, well until it was 35-20, then I knew it was over.

Monday Night Football:
New Orleans 38, New England 17

This was built up to be a preview of the Super Bowl. I was bought, I bet and I bet hard on the Pat's. I thought this would've been the night we see the Saints get their ass handed to them! Boy was I wrong! They played Brady like a Toy, and where did this D learn how to blitz and be so aggressive? I was at first sick with this outcome then came to my senses give them their credit. Saints looked good. Overall A, no comment, i'm still sore about losing!

Now to the main events.....

(boy have I been waiting to say this all year long!!!!)

SHITTEST TEAM OF THE WEEK:

Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football:
New York Giants 6, Denver 26

Wow, how bad did the G Men look? Isn't there an on going rabbit's foot going here. Every team that's made my Shittest Team of The Week nod has shown up in a big way the next week. Last week Denver made and look at em now? I'm so Glad to say the Giants made, so here you go!

GAMES OF THE WEEK:

Tennessee 20, Arizona 17
Sunday Night Football:
Baltimore 20, Pittsburgh 17 (ot)

This week we have double the pleasure with two Games of The Week.
First: Titans and Vince Young, wow what a story, huh? Leads a sick 99 yard drive to win the game with like a minute and change left. Read it again 99 yards! There's not more you can say to that!
Second: Ravens hard hitting D and Ray Rice pulled this tough one out. I thought it was going to be a shoe in victory for them with Big Ben out. Dixon showed up ready to play.
Overall A+++++
